About Mfafa Safaris
Mission Statement.
Mfafa Safaris have, over the years established a tried and trusted relationship with the travel industry, hotels, lodges, safari/game lodges, airports and private clients. We, at Mfafa Safaris believe we can offer you an efficient, professional and reliable service at competitive rates on an ongoing basis.
Mfafa Safaris was established and registered as a safari, tour and transfer company in March 1992. Our offices are based in White River, Mpumalanga Province, 15 minutes from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, 25 minutes from the southern Kruger National Park and 3½ hours from Johannesburg International Airport by road.
Mfafa Safaris have an in-depth knowledge of the Greater Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga Province, Limpopo Province, KwaZulu-Natal Province, the Eastern Drakensberg Mountains, Moçambique and the Kingdom of Swaziland. This includes private safari lodges, hotels, country/coastal resorts and national/provincial wildlife areas.
Our guides hold full qualifications as legislated by South African law and SA Tourism. Our modern fleet of vehicles carry the necessary permits, licences and safety equipment. Mfafa Safaris hold fully comprehensive insurance and are long standing members of Southern African Tourism Services Association (SATSA).
Safaris, tours and road transfers are offered in factory fitted air-conditioned minibuses, sedans and customised open 4x4-safari vehicles. All company vehicles have two-way radios and our guides carry mobile telephones. Helicopter, fixed wing and coach charters are available on request. All Safaris, tours and road transfers are guided by English speaking guides, should you require any other language an additional supplement will be charged.

General.
- Rates are quoted on a per person basis in South African Rand (ZAR).
- Rates include current Governmental Value Added Tax (V.A.T.).
- Children are welcome on any safari, tour or transfer.
- Confirmation of bookings is subject to availability.
- Malaria prophylaxis should be taken year round when visiting low lying areas.
- We suggest that baggage be kept to a minimum where possible, as space on local airlines and vehicles is limited.
- It is advisable to bring comfortable walking shoes or boots, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, swimming costume, video camera, camera, spare batteries, film, binoculars, a flashlight and jersey or jacket for cooler weather.
